PURPOSE

The Manager, Business Technology Transformation is responsible for leading and managing technology-driven transformation initiatives. This role involves overseeing the implementation of new technologies, optimizing existing systems, and ensuring that technology investments align with the organization’s strategic goals.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Develop and implement a technology transformation strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
    • Identify and assess emerging technologies that can drive business improvements.
    • Create a technology roadmap that outlines key initiatives, timelines, and resource requirements.

    • Plan, execute, and oversee technology transformation projects from inception to completion.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, IT staff, cross-functional team members, and external vendors.
    • Regularly communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders.
    • Gather feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve project approaches and outcomes.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives.
    • Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    • Use data and analytics to assess project impact and make data-driven decisions.
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
    • Monitor project risks and issues, addressing them promptly to minimize impact.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
    • Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).
    • 5-7 years of experience in in technology transformation, IT project management, or a similar role
    • Proven experience in managing complex projects and driving organizational change.
    • A proven experience in technology implementations
    • Work experience in management consulting is an asset
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, , Agile).
    • Strong understanding of change management frameworks and best practices.
    • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
    • Bilingual in both French and English
