Security Officer - Oxford

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to monitor and patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and ensure the overall security of the premises.

Pay rate: £12.30ph

Shift Pattern: Night Shift - Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday

Location: The Arc, Oxford, OX4 2JZ

Must have:

· Good customer service and communication skills

· 5-year checkable work history

· Ability to work on own initiative

· SIA Licence

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
• Conduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets.
• Act as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
• Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorised by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents
• Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry.
• Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures
