We are looking to recruit an Group Payment Officer to support the Group Payment’s Team responsible for all Revenue streams into the business - handling multiple currencies. This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing and ambitious company that is leading the revolution of the health and fitness industry.

The Role

This is a Hybrid working role, based in our Leeds Office working a minimum 2 days in the office.

Key duties will include:

  • Create daily Bank Report and Reconcile Bank Statement from previous day with receipt account
  • To develop knowledge of systems capabilities, products, Collaborate with other departments, such as Configuration, marketing, and finance, IT across the Group to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to business operations.
  • Daily reconciliations between the membership data base, PSPs, cashbook & bank statement
  • Daily reconciliations between website sale (CRM) against data base, and Payment gateway solutions in multiple currencies
  • Daily execution of control checks to prevent account issues and enable discrepancy correction.
  • Manual allocation of income, Corporate receipts and reconciliations
  • Responsible for International Payment processing, across multiple currencies on a rotation basis.
  • Manage end to end Chargeback and Indemnity  ensuring entries are recorded accordingly, working alongside acquiring partners to dispute claims, collaborating with supporting evidence, and actioning customers profile as required.
  • Lead fraud investigations to identify suspicious trends and resolve escalated issues from cross-functional teams taking into consideration risk versus customer impact.
  • Communicate with correspondent banks and their intermediaries to resolve payment related issues
  • Management of Revenue collection and error logs
  • Daily completion of collection management report rotating between tasks
  • Managing department queries within 3 working days SLA.
  • Preparation and distribution of reports/member information upon request;
  • Able to create processes from scratch.
  • Able to research and interpret Rules and Regulations
  • Create and maintain task procedures up to date
  • Collaborate and / or lead project work
  • Any other ad hoc duties.

  • Microsoft office literate, and Excel competent – must.
  • Analytical and inquisitive minded with excellent attention to detail
  • Is resilient and passionate about their role
  • Strong numerical and investigative skills
  • Is a trouble shooter and has a solution orientated approach
