As a Skills Development Partner, you’ll be the catalyst for continuous learning and professional evolution across our GammaLabs function and the driving force behind our collective success story.

You'll be the architect of a dynamic learning ecosystem where innovation thrives, skills are honed, and careers are forged.

Collaborating closely with leaders across our GammaLabs function, you'll wield your expertise to craft bespoke pathways for career advancement, curate impactful resources to develop and sharpen professional and technical skills and create learning programmes that empower our teams that use cutting-edge technology used to build our amazing products and services.

You'll also serve as a line manager, mentor and guide to our Technology Graduates, shaping them into the leaders and experts of the future through a transformative 24-month journey.

Technology Graduates will be aligned to the functional areas that they will join when exiting the programme, and their key objectives and day to day tasks will be set by and managed by their rotational Team Manager.   With your guidance, they'll navigate the complexities of our industry, overcome obstacles, and emerge as seasoned professionals ready to make their mark.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Develop and deliver impactful professional development programs, in accordance with industry recognised professional skills frameworks (i.e. SFIA, CDDAT, IET etc) 
  • Curate impactful learning resources from various on-demand platforms providers, such as LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly, AWS and more, empowering our people to own their development and career progression. 
  • Incorporate industry best practice accreditations to support our teams that use cutting edge technology, to build our brilliant products and services.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment allowing our GammaLabs teams to succeed in developing new skills
  • Line manage, mentor and guide our Technology Graduates throughout their 24 month programme, ensuring they seamlessly transition into their chosen roles armed with the skills and confidence to excel.
  • Monitor and track Technology Graduate progress and provide additional support, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve curriculum, instructional strategies, and outcomes. 

 

What you’ll need 🚀

  • Demonstrated expertise in learning and development, coupled with a proven track record of designing and implementing impactful skill development initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, building rapport and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies, and emerging trends in workplace learning.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Takes a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance evaluation.
  • Commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements in technology and learning science.
  • Able to work independently with your own projects but also be a collaborator, wanting to share and exchange ideas and suggestions.

A few things to note ✨

This role is based out of our Manchester office where we work in a hybrid model. For us that’s 3 days with the team in the office. We have parking on-site and great collaboration areas where we get together and share ideas.
