Our Group finance team have a great opportunity as a Finance Analyst working within our FP&A team. Here you'll be responsible for reporting and control of UK sales commission schemes, as well as delivering FP&A activities for the “Commercial SMB” business unit within Gamma Business (including forecasts/budgets and month end analysis). 

What you'll be doing:

 

  • Reporting and control of sales commission schemes for the UK channel team (Wholesale / Service Provider)
    • Creation of annual commission targets, with reference to the annual budget
    • Creation of monthly and quarterly commission statements
    • Answer ad hoc queries from the sales team relating to commissions
  • Budgeting and Forecasting for Commercial SMB
    • Production of the annual budget and 5 year forecast
    • Regular forecasting updates during the year
  • Reporting
    • Produce monthly analysis pack, comparing monthly results to budget and forecast.
    • Track and report product KPIs.

Business Partnering

    • Continual improvement of processes and reporting. 
    • Support the sales team to better understand how their sales performance impacts their commissions
    • Provide general business support as required

 

  • Team support
    • Provide financial modelling support
    • Point of contact for SQL and Power BI support within the Gamma Business finance team

 

What you’ll need 🚀

  • Analytical experience and able to work with large, complex data sets
  • Commissions experience is highly desirable
  • Experience managing stakeholders in non-finance departments.
  • Financial modelling / forecasting experience
  • Extensive experience of Excel.
  • Accounting background
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Proactive and inquisitive - able to seek out relevant information from stakeholders
  • Great team player 
  • Experience working with SQL and Power BI is desirable

This role is based from our Newbury office - we are very close to the station and have parking. Our hybrid is 2 days a week in the office with the team.
