Housekeeper and Cook
Role: Cook and Resident Support
Location: Bourton on the Water
Contract: 16 hrs p/w (Two shifts 09:00-18:00)
Hourly Rate: £12.58-£12.85

You will ensure the wellbeing and safety of our residents, being the first port of call for our residents to report any issues they may have, to investigate and escalate where necessary. Budget management and basic computer skills would be an advantage, however full support and training will be given by our friendly and supportive staff.
No paid kitchen experience needed, but must be comfortable cooking for up to eleven people. We are looking for people that enjoy cooking for family or friends to cook a tasty lunch and lighter tea in the late afternoon evening.

- A cheerful and friendly demeanour, understanding the needs of older people
- Someone that enjoys being creative in the kitchen, whether it be a signature dish or your secret cake recipe
- A person that takes pride in what they do
- Somebody that is organised, confident and happy to engage with others, sharing relevant information within the wider Housing team.
- Able to offer a warm welcome to family, friends of Abbeyfield and contractors, both in person and over the phone
