We have an rare opportunity available as part of our Whispers Restaurant relaunch.

This is a exciting opportunity for a cook who wants to make their mark in a collaborative environment, where they will have the support and encouragement of our new management team. Working along side the Chef, you will be a part of our new kitchen team, delivering high quality food, while maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment that ensure a dining experience our customers will come back for again and again.

Situated on the grounds of Abbeyfield's Girton Green service, our Whispers Restaurant offerings include tea/coffee and homemade bakes, light bites, a seasonal lunch menu, a weekly fish & chips service and a traditional roast dinner on a Sunday, all of which is open to both our Abbeyfield residents and the local community.

About You

• You’ll be efficient and diligent in your work, and happy to work and communicate effectively as a team across all sections within the kitchen environment.
• Working alongside a Chef, you will play a fundamental part in creating innovative dishes, with a focus on bringing people together.
• You will have strong knowledge in all Health and Safety standards - COSH, EOH and HACCP legislation.
• You will be able to support the kitchen staff team and offer guidance to get the best out of each individual.
